Got this to replace an old style bulky and noise fan and I am very happy with this fan. Installation was easy and all materials needed are included. 6 speed fan with remote control and turn direction can be reversed for summer and winter use. The bright LED light is a great upgrade for my office and I like the 3 different modes, white light, neutral (warm and white mix) and warm light suit any time and situation. The design is beautiful and simple, the blades can be mounted two ways, either wood or black side down. I've got wood down and it looks great with the black housing. 5 stars and I have multiple of these for several rooms. bought this on a whim for my porch and I am impressed so far. Easy install. Quiet and it does move some air even being outside. Only drawback I see is that the light is not dimmable. You can change light temp thought. Remote is easy to use as well, although if you loose it or it stops working you are kind of "screwed" no other way to turn it on. I will be looking for larger one like this in the near future to replace my 30 yr old Hunters in my house soon. They still work fine but they suck the juice. Time to upgrade and modernize my 50 yr old home. One fan and light at a time. I love these fans. This is my second one I have bought. Unfortunately due to some storms my first fan got damaged.  This was added 7-22-24. I am wondering if you have or sell the receiver/controller separate.The controller got damaged by water intrusion so it no longer functions. The fan and light function, I used the new fans controller to test it. The model is HJ-424M with a sub code of 1298. Which I assume has to do with the remote. Or maybe a new controller and remote. And today with zero muss and fuss I received my new controller and remote. Even thought my controller was damaged by water intrusion,no fault of the seller/manufacturer they took it upon themselves to furnish me with a new one. A++ customer service. Read more

The not so good: if the remote control fails or gets lost you will not be able to use the fan portion of this product. if power goes out, when it comes back on this fan will not remember its last state and simply turn the light on, this can be particularly annoying during a storm, especially at night so keep that in mind if you decide to buy this ceiling fan. I absolutely LOVE this fan. I installed it in my living room to replace the outdated one the previous owner had, and it totally changed the appearance of the room. My house has very low ceilings, so I needed one that didn’t come down too far. I spent weeks doing research before deciding on this one, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The light is WILDLY bright (wasn’t expecting that due to the small size) and gives 3 color hues to choose from. The fan has 6 speeds, with the highest setting blowing air more powerful than any fan I’ve ever seen. The remote is very convenient, too, and has always worked perfectly with no lag. I live in an older house, and the living room fixture does not have a switch to control it (it’s just always on). I had to flip the breaker when I installed it. The remote makes this the perfect choice for me, since I need full control from it without a switch. I plan on putting this exact fan in every bedroom throughout the house. For context, I NEVER leave poor reviews. But I felt compelled to warn any potential purchasers. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before purchasing this ceiling fan, but I have since discovered that others have expressed the same problem. We had the ceiling fan connected for 4 weeks (using it at nighttime), and then in the middle of the night, it just stopped working. It started making a slight squeaking sound when we attempt to run it, and then it doesn't do anything. The light wont work, the fan wont work. We had it professionally installed, so there are no issues with the installation...it is just in the manufacturing. For some reason, this fan just does not last. Unless the manufacturer addresses whatever is causing this issue, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS FAN!! Unfortunately, it took us some time to get the fan hung, and so by the time it quit working we were about 14 days after the window of time to return it. For what it's worth, the fan is nice. It looks nice. It runs quietly. When we first hung the fan, we were SO elated to have gotten what appeared to be a nice fan for a great price...but, it just completely stopped working. Read more

This is a nice fan. I like that you can choose between 3 different "temperatures" of light. Would be even better if you could dim the lights. I also like that it has 6 different fan speeds and it is very quiet while running. There were only a couple of things that made the install a little frustrating. First, it's wired so you can install it in place of a regular light fixture. My outlet is wired for a traditional ceiling fan & that's what caused me the troubles. The mounting bracket did not line up great with my ceiling fan rated outlet box so I couldn't use all the screws as instructed. Second, I of course had a red wire left & wasn't sure at first what to do with it. You have to wire it along with the black wires. Once I got those things figured out, everything works great.
